A Friendly Security Heads-Up: Staying Safe from Fake Emails
Hello DigitalDoor Community!
Your security and trust are incredibly important to us. We want to give you a quick but crucial update to help you protect your account and personal information.
We've become aware of some suspicious "phishing" emails that are pretending to be from DigitalDoor. These are not legitimate messages from our team.

What to Look For
These fake emails may try to trick you. Please be on the lookout for messages that show the sender's name as:
- "Delivery Subsystem"
- "DigitalDoor Subsystem
- Or simply "digitaldoor.com.au" (used as the display name)
These messages are designed to create a false sense of urgency, perhaps claiming there's a problem with your account or that you need to take immediate action.
What to Do (And What NOT to Do)
If you receive an email that looks like this, your safety is just a few simple steps away:
- DO NOT open the email. If you already have, don't worry, just proceed to the next steps.
- DO NOT click on any links, buttons, or images within the email.
- DO NOT open or download any attachments.
- Please DELETE the email immediately.
These types of messages often link to fake websites or contain harmful software intended to steal your information.
A Friendly Reminder on How We Communicate
To help you spot these fakes more easily in the future, here’s a quick reminder about how DigitalDoor actually communicates with you:
- Your Account Does NOT Expire: DigitalDoor accounts do not have an "expiration date." Any email warning you that your account is about to be deactivated or expire is a scam.
- We Don't Send Automated Warnings: We do not have any automated system that sends out emails about account status, warnings, or updates.
- Our Only Automated Emails Are Confirmations: The only automatic emails you will receive from us are immediate confirmations as a direct result of an action you just took (for example, verifying your email address or receiving a receipt that a process you started was completed successfully).
Your security is a partnership, and by staying alert, we can keep our community safe.
Thank you for being cautious!
All the best,
The DigitalDoor Team
