Once called Christensen's Flower Auction, it became a fully digital online platform in June 2019, marking the start of the digital future of FLOWERHUB.
FLOWERHUB is a wholesale flower market located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, offering wholesale flowers, plants, and floral accessories to trade businesses and the public.
The Christensen Family, a fourth-generation flower family with Danish roots, founded FLOWERHUB. The Christensen name has been in business in Australia since 1981 and has grown to be a premium floral brand. The family launched Christensen's Flower Auction, Australia's first flower auction, in 1995. It has changed over the past 24 years to become what FLOWERHUB is now.
After having a solid market presence in Brisbane, FLOWERHUB's founders wanted to digitize their business processes and increase their sales through an online presence. There is no access to supporting customers outside the workplace, and it is impossible to acquire new customers from different areas online. FLOWERHUB has been using a paper-based system and workbooks that require manual data entry, which is time-consuming and inefficient.
The challenge FLOWERHUB faced is like many other wholesale flower businesses:
FLOWERHUB's digital platform that we call as "DDLive Platform" has been built by flower people for people who love flowers.
DDLIVE Platform is used by FLOWERHUB for E-commerce and business process automation services
The use of the DDLIVE Platform has enabled them to streamline their business processes and automate a number of repetitive tasks. This has helped them reduce their cost base while improving their productivity levels. FLOWERHUB has been able to provide a variety of features and benefits for its e-commerce and business process automation services. Some benefits of using DDLive include:
“I needed a solution that would enable our customer support team to work from home whilst still fully supporting our customers, without them feeling any change to the Support Levels. This is exactly what we can provide because we have the DDLive.” - Milly Christensen, Owner at FLOWERHUB
Remote work has become increasingly important in recent years, and the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the trend. With DDLive, customer support teams can work from home while still having access to the tools and resources they need to provide high-quality support to customers. This can help businesses reduce costs, improve flexibility, and provide a better work-life balance for employees.
DDLive may offer features such as:
